My family & I just enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the newly remodeled Rosa's in Pismo Beach. They had a fantastic Grand Re-Opening. It was so fun to see everyone that worked on the project and all their loyal customers too. The Telegram Tribune gave them a lovely write up as well. You can read the article here. I am telling you Rosa's is the new hot spot for great food and fun on the Central Coast. If you're local, it's really worth your while to check them out! and....WOW! Thank you Bill, Doug and Shannon for the yummy J. Lohr (my favorite)!!!!
Happy Summer!
One of my favorite reps just left the boutique. I just purchased two great new lines! A new organic towel and bathrobe line, 100% cotton, fantastic pricing and scrumptious quality! And also a brand new pajama line by PJ Harlow. This line is lightweight and perfect for summer!!! Speaking of summer, today is a total beach day. As soon as I close up, we're grabbing the kids, the soccer ball, and the bbq and hitting the beach for the evening! You just have to love living in California! These are a just a few of the new beach towels I picked up for the boutique, 39" × 71" and only $22! Happy Summer!!!!

This is a picture of Doug the Head Chef and one of the nicest people I think I have ever met. You can read the full article here! (not sure if this link will work after 6/16/08???)

I promised to post a picture of Krista's amazing cake and cupcakes she made for my Trunk Show last week. Sorry it took sooooo long! That said, back to Krista...after my dance class this evening we had a very interesting chat about a possible business venture together....hmmmmm....what could that be? I'm soooooooo not telling! In the meantime though, she is seriously moving her business forward and if you live in the Central Coast area, I suggest you book her soon. Not only are her cakes DELICIOUS, they are genuinely magical!!! Also, a big congratulations to my new friend, Miss Jenny, of Live Artfully Magazine She put on a wonderful event this last weekend in SLO supporting many incredibly talented local women entrepreneurs. Tea Time Magazine!
I'm very proud of my friend, Risa, The ParTea Planner!!! She was just featured in Tea Time Magazine! I can't wait to read the article. I was very honored to create a piece of art exclusively for her to use at her Tea Events. I hear the magazine is out (although I haven't seen a copy yet). She sent me these photos from the shoot. Is she talented or what?!!!
Wow! Thank You!
I can not even begin to tell you how emotional these past two days have been. Since I posted my last entry about the little triplets that need help, there has been a tremendous response from so many people! From my neighbors to the companies that I work with, to fellow bloggers and people I have never met, you have all renewed my hope in Mankind! Your willingness to jump right in and offer product, services, and money without hesitation has overwhelmed me. I have even received emails from people I don't even know who may have just happened onto my website offering to send things...I am left in awe and gratitude....
As this project unfolds I will post the amazing follow-up. You see, mankind really is good.... and wonderful... and loving... and magical... You have all just proven that to me and I can not thank you enough!

Oh and of course, all the fantastic finds I pick up in San Francisco... Have a great weekend everyone, time to hit the road!
Well...That's Cool!
I was just told that one of the houses I designed last year was voted one of the Telegram Tribune's favorite homes of 2007!! That's really icing on the cake, considering my clients on that job were two of the finest, nicest people I've ever worked with. Thank you Tribune!!!

Black & White Trend In Decor!
So this is kind of a happy coincidence... Just as I had posted these pictures of one of my black and white paintings an article in Kid's Today just came out about the black & white trend in decor. The happy part of that was they included my art in the article! It's informative content that points to several manufacturer's that have followed suite on this design trend and worth reading if you are considering that palette for an up and coming design project. One of my favorite manufacturers at the ABC Expo last fall, that was also highlighted in the article, is Whistle and Wink
bedding. The designer, who used to work for Pottery Barn, rencently launched Whistle and Wink as her new collection. I think it's clever and beautiful. You can read the Kid's Today article here. Hope to see you at the Parade!

Little Love Notes That Make Me Smile!
It's so amazing to me that 3 men are able to build a house from scratch. Bo, Ray, and Spencer have been out here six days a weeks, sawing and hammering away...They are so talented! So here's the progress of Frank and Ethel's house today.
OK and how cute is this? In my guest room where my parents are staying I have a little chalkboard. I've always used it to write welcoming notes to my guests...but Mom and Dad have reinvented this little chalkboard. It has become a place for little love notes to one another. How darn cute is that after 56 years (I hope that's right) of marriage they still leave each other cute little notes. This has been going on for the past few months...I just had to share it...Yesterday (Mom) Ethel hurt her knee pretty bad so here's the note (Dad) Frank left her. Awwwwww....
All In A Week's Time!
This may be a bit challenging to write...homework, spelling words, Shaunah on the phone, Serena on her phone, Chyna talking to me...a typical night at the Robeson house. So many conversations, so many cute stories of the day... We're back from Vegas and catching up on loads of laundry and right back into the swing of things. The ABC (All Baby & Kid's) Expo was fantastic! Here are a few pictures of my booth as I was setting up. I shared with "I Lite 4 U" chandeliers and a few pieces from "Villa Bella Furniture". We met so many great people and I'm so happy to say my art will be in some of the most divine boutiques in the country! Yae! Thanks to my very wonderful friend and rep., Crystal Schachter!!!!
OK on a silly note, while we were there, the MTV Video Music Awards were going on and Vegas was full of celebrities. It seemed like everywhere we went we ran into someone fun...the back-up dancers for Justin Timberlake in the elevator, Stedman (hope I spelt that right - Oprah's boyfriend!) at the Mandalay Bay, and Josh Stone sang for a sound check by our pool...just to name a few...it was surreal...
On the home front, we left for a week and came back to Walls! and a smashed entry gate...all the joys of construction!
